Michigan - Amish Country

We took our time driving to Houghton Lake and stopped along the way to shop at an Amish hardware store, grocery store, and bakery. We also took in the beautiful scenery...

This isn't at an Amish store, but it was on the same trip to Houghton Lake. We stopped at an Army Surplus and Jason was very excited to get a couple of MREs.

Michigan - First Stop, Ann Arbor

We spent last week in Michigan visiting my family. We packed a lot in and had some time to relax too. Our tour started in Ann Arbor. Jenny and Josh flew in for the weekend so we joined them and my parents to hang out for a couple days. We also went to dinner with Katie and Rob in Royal Oak and had a wonderful time visiting with them.

Farmer's Market

We like to go to the farmer's market on Saturday mornings. Last weekend our trip to the market was cut short because of a fire in the Subway. No one was hurt, but it was pretty scary to watch.
