Jason got me one of the greatest Groupons yet...a sewing glass at a fabric store in the suburbs. Last weekend, I went to the first part of the class. We are making one of the patterns from the Amy Butler Madison Bags pattern. Here is a link to the pattern on her website:
And, here is my work from the first part of the class. I've never made a bag like this and I'm using a Janome sewing machine at the store so I get to try out some of the new features and see what a different sewing machine is like. Part two is this coming Saturday and I'm looking forward to it.

Oh which store are you taking the class? I love your material. I have an Amy Butler purse pattern too. I like it a lot. I should make one too!
